Open Ended is "a weekly podcast exploring digital humanity from a black perspective," hosted by my friend, James T. Green, and (new friend!) Cher Vincent.
I was asked to be a guest on this week's episode, and we talked about the origins of #NoOctothorpe, empathy and the anxiety having too much of it can bring, dealing with online anonymity, criticism, and some of the inherent privileges that come with being a white dude writing (and talking) about tech. That doesn't even cover it all. We get into things pretty deep.
It was a blast recording with them, and I think we touched on a lot of important topics. I'd love for you to listen, and to share your own feedback and perspectives with me.
Also, if you dig the show, you should subscribe to it. Maybe send a little love their way, in the form of reviews or donations on their site.
