Way to make things super confusing, WB. Yeah, Edge of Tomorrow wasn't a great name for the film to begin with, but why not have your marketing team determine this before release? The only thing I see this doing is reducing clarity around the title even further to make people less likely to purchase it.
Astute listeners of FKRS may recall Fletcher getting repeatedly confused by the movie's marketing. I remember him calling the film "Live. Die. Repeat" multiple times.
The saddest part about all of this, though, is that the movie bombed in theaters. Not the best summer blockbuster by far, but an extremely satisfying and well-paced sci-fi action film that actually had some legs to stand on from a story perspective. I actually quite liked it.
