Well there ya go. Turns out those shaky reports coming in weren't so shaky after all. It'll be interesting to see what direction they take this. Seems that they'll function as separate entities for now, which makes the most sense for such an established brand. Really would love to see Apple up the ante on hardware quality for the headphones.
I am also very curious if AppleCare will end up supporting Beats headphones, or if warranty claims can eventually be filed through Apple Stores. I always hated trying to explain to angry people why we couldn't fix or refund their broken headphones they bought six months prior. Going through the Beats support method always sucked.
Also notable that Beats Music app has dropped the annual price to $99.99 from $119.88.
